This is a visual sketch that responds to incoming audio data.
The intention was to create simple and playful live visual feedback to incoming audio, whether it be pre-recorded music or user inputed sound.
Analysis of an incoming audio signal is done in Max/MSP, with a fast Fourier transform being performed to isolate frequency bands. This audio data is sent to Processing where it is used to determine and control various visual elements.
The music used in the video is an original composition.
